LANALA
Marhabaa! LANALA is a family business and was founded in 2017 in the capital of the Maldives, Male’. The name LANALA is a mix of the daughter LANA and the local word for pretty, “NALA”. LANALA is the first company is the Maldives to produce locally designed eco-friendly and modest swimwear.
Our swimwear is inspired by the ocean environment, tropical themes and the Maldivian culture. We like to incorporate local elements into our items and make swimwear for all ages and sizes. LANALA offers timeless classic designs as well as bold patterns and colours. Something for everyone.
Being an eco-friendly company means that we try to have the smallest possible impact on the environment from start to finish. That’s why we use high-quality recycled fabrics and avoid single-use plastic and fabric waste. Recycled paper wrapping and fabric pouches are used for packaging.
LANALA is available at selected outlets all over the Maldives and we frequently reinvent ourselves and release new collections. We frequently participate in resort pop-up events and have successfully displayed and sold our items at the Dubai Expo 2020.

Eco-Friendly
To avoid single-use plastic, we use fabric pouches or recycled paper wrapping for packaging. Fighting the ongoing microplastics tragedy in the Indian Ocean, we predominantly use high-quality REPREVE recycled fabric and other sustainable materials.
